I than reached out to Dell after receiving my system and asked how much it would cost to add it on. The shipping dates slipped from 5-7 days to severa weeks so I figured forget it. I reached out to Dell and they said they can’t add a warranty to my order (even though the system hasn’t even been built yet) and I’d have to cancel my order and reorder. Over the course of the weekend I thought to myself those Dell warranties are pretty cheap and I spent a lot of money in this system I should add a warranty to my order. When I ordered my system at the end of January on a Friday I didn’t add a warranty. Here’s my experience on getting an extended warranty.
